Bockfest 2008
Another great Bock Fest. Thanks to all that attended- you were a great crowd! It's looks like a record year for attendance too, with well over 6000 happy festers.
The music was great as usual. The bonfires were well visited and the fire tenders were busy "poking" glasses of specialy brewed Bock Beer. The food lines moved along well, keeping those hungry souls well nourished. Beer lines moved well for most of the day, but around 1:30 they slowed up a bit. We apologize for the wait, but hopefully the company was good and it was a beautiful February day.
The Great Bock Hunt had good success this year as well. Four Bocks were found, including the King. I did manage to find all but one of the unfound Bocks on Sunday after the fest. I do hope that whoever found the February Bock would please come foreward and return it to the brewery. The trails were pretty clean too- thank you hunters for respecting the park.
Overall I'd give the day an A+. I hope all that attended felt the same way. We look forward to seeing you again next year. Have a great year, and thanks again.
