Behind the Brew
Shocked is a clear, golden radler beer. It’s light, crisp body combines mild malt flavor, hop bitterness and a sensational citrus essence. Ideal for those sun-kissed afternoons, this invigorating blend provides the ultimate in summer refreshment. When this was first introduced, fruit beers were relatively uncommon so “Shocked” represented the feeling many expressed to find a grapefruit soda mixed in their beer.
Lighter foods are key when pairing with a radler. Salads prepared with citrus fruits, bruchetta, stuffed mushrooms, shrimp cocktail, and calamari. Lighter prepared fish such as fried white fish, grilled salmon, and sushi. Try pairing it with light, tart cheeses like mozzarella and ricotta.
