Unlike many other German beers, Kölsch is top-fermented using ale yeast, then cold-conditioned like a lager, creating a hybrid style that’s both crisp and aromatic. As a German lager brewery, we strive to craft beers that honor tradition while embracing a modern twist, making the Kölsch style a natural fit for our lagering roots.
Inspired by a previous summer seasonal, Zommerfest, and with the addition of subtle citrus fruit notes, Lake Escape was born—a refreshing tribute to easygoing summer days and the timeless Kölsch tradition.
