Join us for a one-of-a-kind pilot release featuring “Kernzilla”: a Munich Dunkel style brewed with Kernza, a perennial grain and climate-friendly grain grown right here in the Midwest in a collaboration with Great River Greening.
For this special event, our brew team and the Kernza growers/farmers will be on site to share the story behind Kernza, how it grows, and why it’s gaining attention for its environmental benefits for a perennial grain offers a transformative solution to sustainable farming.
About Kernzilla:
An amber Munich Dunkel with a rich malt character and a subtle nuttiness.
ABV: 5.6%
IBU: 25
Malts: Lighthouse Munich, Bonlander, Kernza, Carahell, & Midnight Wheat
