Get ready to jingle and mingle in your tackiest and most festive attire We’re hosting the ultimate Ugly Sweater Contest in the Bierhalle. Bring out your most outrageous, bedazzled, and delightfully hideous holiday sweaters for a chance to win fantastic prizes.

Our trusty elves will be snapping photos of all the fabulous participants during the event. Strut your stuff and show off your sweater style!

The top 5 ugliest sweaters will be showcased on our social media platforms from December 23rd-28th. Rally your friends and family to vote for your sweater masterpiece! Voting is open to everyone.

The top 3 sweaters with the most votes will snag awesome prizes! From Schell’s Brewery swag to exclusive holiday treats, it’s a festive win-win.

The victorious sweater wearer will be announced on December 28th via social media. Stay tuned to find out if your ugly sweater reigns supreme.

It was awesome going through the tour, and the tasting room was a very comfortable place to try very fresh beers as well as some new ones. Sue, our tour guide was great and did a fantastic job showing us around. I would definitely do this tour again and highly recommend checking it out!!

Incredible beer, friendly staff, beautiful facility. Wish we came the day before on Sunday, as the biergarten had live music. Definitely coming back when we visit next year!

Historical and beautiful brewery. A must see if you are in New Ulm. There is something here for everyone even if you aren’t a beer drinker.

Fantastic experience! My co-workers and I went on the brewery tour for only $10. Included samples at the end, along with a complimentary glass. Highly recommended if you love beer!

Been coming here for years. Always love this place. Although I prefer it in the late spring, when the flowers are blooming and the peacocks are out. The beer is as good as you can imagine and the atmosphere is even better. The staff is fantastic and I'll keep going back!
