Join us for an exclusive release featuring the BEEr Garden Ale!
A beer that’s buzzing with flavor—BEEr Garden Ale! Brewed with locally sourced honey from MoodyBees Farm in Madelia, this refreshing beer is a taste of spring. Infused with a floral blend of elderflower, lavender, chamomile, hops, and lemongrass, it brings together the essence of the season in every sip. Crafted on our pilot system, this limited-release brew is available exclusively in Schell’s Bierhalle. We have only one barrel of it, so make sure to come early and enjoy it before it’s gone.
Brewmaster Jordan Walls will share the story of this unique brew and answer your questions in a Q&A session – make sure your glass if full and keep the questions coming.
Fun place and wonderful 1919 root beer is available in addition to beer.

It was awesome going through the tour, and the tasting room was a very comfortable place to try very fresh beers as well as some new ones. Sue, our tour guide was great and did a fantastic job showing us around. I would definitely do this tour again and highly recommend checking it out!!
Incredible beer, friendly staff, beautiful facility. Wish we came the day before on Sunday, as the biergarten had live music. Definitely coming back when we visit next year!
Historical and beautiful brewery. A must see if you are in New Ulm. There is something here for everyone even if you aren’t a beer drinker.
Fantastic experience! My co-workers and I went on the brewery tour for only $10. Included samples at the end, along with a complimentary glass. Highly recommended if you love beer!
Been coming here for years. Always love this place. Although I prefer it in the late spring, when the flowers are blooming and the peacocks are out. The beer is as good as you can imagine and the atmosphere is even better. The staff is fantastic and I'll keep going back!
