Behind the Brew
When craft beer started gaining in popularity, drinkers were jumping from a lighter beer, but not everyone could make the full leap. That’s where Dark comes in. We set out to brew a beer that was more sessionable than most crafts, but had more character than the light beers. As it turns out, the middle is a great spot to be for many. A medium-body with a lot of flavor makes this a very enjoyable beer for any occasion.
Food Pairings
Schell’s Dark pairs well with barbecue, roasted pork, smoked sausage and other hearty foods. Its sweet maltiness complements the flavors of chicken satay, cashew chicken, pecan pie and peanut sauces. The favorite cheese pairing for Schell’s dark is Cheddar.
